The railway station at Woodbridge is one of the most picturesque on the line, situated next to the River Deben, the historic Tide Mill and the marina. Woodbridge is home to more than 100 locally owned shops; there are more than 30 places to eat with cuisine ranging from traditional British fare to Chinese, Indian, and Thai. The railway station houses the Whistle Stop Cafe and Station Guest House, Lilac Thyme flower shop and M&R Cars taxi. The Riverside Theatre and Cinema are next door.

  • Ticket Machine – located under the canopy next to the station building on Platform 1 – accepts most credit and debit cards or buy online and collect at the machine
  • Help Point – on Platform 1 next to the ticket machine

  • Timetable information board – on approach to Platform 1
  • Bicycle stalls – 4; lockers 2
  • Car Park – Pay and Display – multiple spaces with 5 free spaces for motorcycles

  • Station Walks – Fynn Valley to Westerfield station; Tide Mill to Melton station
  • Note: Wheelchair access to Platform 2 (Ipswich-bound platform) is via the level crossing just north of the station; from the car park go past the cinema and turn right
