The East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership is looking to improve the appearance of some security fencing that separates the station from an adjacent building at Derby Road station through a photo competition.

Four winning photos will be chosen and reproduced on large 6ft x 8ft panels to be displayed at the rail station.

East Suffolk Lines CRP Officer, Thalia Rushmore, said, “We’re really excited to launch the competition so that we can help improve the station’s appearance and literally give our local photographers a public platform on which to display their talents.”

Greater Anglia’s Customer and Community Engagement Manager, Alan Neville, said, “I can’t wait to view the entries and I’m sure the resulting display will make a huge difference to the station which will delight passengers as they pass through.

“We are grateful to the East Suffolk Lines CRP for this novel idea to help promote the station and rail travel to a wider audience.”
