How to Purchase

There are several ways to purchase your ticket:

Mobile Apps – Mobile tickets are available via the Greater Anglia app for Android devices and iPhone/iPad; no paper ticket required. Buy your ticket as late as 3 minutes before departure. You can keep your phone charged as all seats on East Suffolk Lines trains, Norwich – London Liverpool Street Intercity trains, and all other Greater Anglia regularly scheduled services have plug and USB charging sockets. Anglia Plus and other ranger/rover tickets are not available via the app.

Online – Collect at any ticket machine, have your tickets posted to you (please allow up to five days by post before you travel), or print at home.

Ticket machines  – They’re located at all East Suffolk Lines stations except Brampton. Advanced tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine as late as up to 10 minutes before you travel. Please note the ticket machines do not accept cash. Need assistance with the ticket machine? Press the help button on the machine which will connect you to Greater Anglia in Norwich who can take control of the machine and produce the ticket for you.

If the ticket machine is out-of-order at an unstaffed station or when the ticket office is closed you can buy your ticket from the conductor on the train.

From the conductor  – When you board at any unstaffed East Suffolk Lines station you can purchase your ticket on the train; all East Suffolk Lines stations, except Lowestoft and Ipswich, are unstaffed.

Ticket office – Lowestoft and Ipswich stations.

Phone – Call Greater Anglia on 0345 600 7245. Card charges and a booking fee apply.
