Network Rail Educational Resources for Children

Schools may be closed but it doesn’t mean learning has to stop. Network Rail has helped develop free, fun and educational materials for children; they include activity books, quizzes, puzzles, short films and instructional videos.

A free book featuring Thomas the Tank Engine highlights railway safety; children can follow Emily the Engineer on her adventures across the railway network and learn how science, technology, engineering and maths play an important part. Films highlight how technology is used in the railway industry along with all the different career opportunities.

There are also several fun activities designed to get kids thinking.

All the resources are available here.
