Train operator National Express East Anglia is offering real time information for people wherever they are. The new “JourneyCheck” service allows passengers to “know before you go.” JourneyCheck sends real time information on any delays, disruptions, or cancelled services right to your mobile as a text message, or as an email to your computer or PDA.
John Brodribb, Chairman of the East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership says:
“National Express East Anglia train services have been getting steadily more reliable in recent months. I very much welcome the launch of the new JourneyCheck service as another way of giving passengers greater confidence about the operation of these services. This in turn will help persuade more people to use the train, to the great benefit of the environment and their carbon footprint. Simple, but a great idea.”
