Vivid Summer Colour at Darsham

If you’ve caught the train at Darsham recently or passed though whilst on the train, chances are you’ve caught a glimpse of the this lovely and colourful display of flowers at the station.
The window boxes and flower tubs were planted by and are tended to by Annette Day; she’s the volunteer station adopter an has been for well over a decade.
Because the flowers are located under the station canopy they never benefit from any rainfall. Annette installed a water butt as an eco-friendly solution.
Annette is also the manager of Darsham Country Centre; they’re the charity located inside the station building. To find out more about Darsham Country Centre, visit their website.
