Walks from Felixstowe and Trimley Stations

Felixstowe and Trimley Walks BookletA new companion booklet to the popular East Suffolk Line Walks guide has been published by the Community Rail Partnership. The new booklet features walks along the Felixstowe Line from both the railway stations at Felixstowe and Trimley.

The walks meander along beautiful coastal scenery, marshes, and woodland, much of it in an officially designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Inside the Walks BookletThe booklet contains a full colour map detailing three main walks: a 6 mile circular walk from Trimley Station along the River Orwell and Trimley marshes, a 4 mile circular walk from Felixstowe Station along the seafront, and the Deben walk between both stations; the Deben walk has several alternate routes between 6 and 10 miles. A shorter walk can be completed using bus services between Felixstowe Ferry and the railway station.

Felixstowe and Trimley walks mapThe map also shows the local portion of the 42 mile Stour and Orwell walk connecting Shotley, Harwich, Felixstowe, and Bawdsey.

The Felixstowe and Trimley walks booklet is free and is available at staffed stations.
