Seeing all that Woodbridge has to offer is now easier than ever. Again this Summer every Thursday and Saturday through 30 August a special open-top double-decker bus makes its way around the area on a sightseeing tour. The circular route travels through Woodbridge and Melton onto Sutton Hoo and back again. There are 14 stops including Wilford Bridge, Buttrums Mill, Market Hill Museums, and Sutton Hoo National Trust site.

Tour bus tickets are only £5 for adults and £3 for children/concession. A family ticket is just £12. The tour ticket is valid for 24 hours allowing you to hop-on and off the bus as many times as you like. Single tickets are good between any two stops and are only £2.60. Suffolk County Council Concessionary passholders travel free on a single journey. NB – a separate fee applies for admission to Sutton Hoo National Trust site.

Travel by rail on the East Suffolk Lines and make a direct connection to the bus at either Melton railway station or Woodbridge railway station.

The tour is operated by Ipswich Buses in conjunction with City Sightseeing and is sponsored by the East Suffolk Line Community Rail Partnership, the East Suffolk Travellers’ Association, Woodbridge Community Council, and Woodbridge Town Centre Management Group.
