New Help Points

New help point at HalesworthHelp is at hand at stations along the East Suffolk Line. Train operator Greater Anglia has installed additional help points on station platforms for easier access to information. The new help points can be found at Oulton Broad South, Halesworth, Saxmundham, Woodbridge, and Melton.

At stations with two platforms, such as Halesworth, only one help point was previously available, meaning anyone entering the station from Bramblewood Way would have to cross the tracks to reach the help point located on the station building. The new help point means anyone on either platform can immediately talk to a live person at National Rail Enquiries, all with the push of one button.

Passengers can find out information on current rail services, any disruptions to the timetable, and which taxi and bus services are available at their station. The help points can also be used in an emergency.

At Oulton Broad South the new help point is integrated with a new customer information screen which displays real time information on train arrivals, departures, and running times.
