Rail Tickets Now Available in Aldeburgh

Suffolk Coastal District Council and train operator National Express East Anglia have teamed up to make a range of rail tickets available at another Suffolk based Tourist Information Centre. Both peak and off-peak tickets can now be bought at the TIC in Aldeburgh along with Senior Railcards. The popular seaside town is just 6 miles from Saxmundham rail station and enjoys both bus and taxi services to and from the station. The Aldeburgh Tourist Information joins the Felixstowe TIC which started offering rail tickets last Autumn. INDUSTRIAL ACTION is taking taking place in early May. Mon 6/5, and Wed 7/5 though Sat 11/5 most services will run but there will be some cancellations. On Tuesday 7/5 there will be a full strike; NO services on the East Suffolk Lines or the other local/regional routes will operate that day. Mainline services to/from London will be reduced.
