Anglian Bus 520 at Halesworth Rail StationStarting 19th May getting to and from the seaside resort of Southwold will be even easier thanks to an all-in-one rail and bus ticket. The Southwold ticket is a joined up service allowing passengers to buy one ticket for that is good on both Greater Anglia train services and the direct Southwold-to-Halesworth station bus service from Anglian Bus.

 

Anglian’s No. 88A bus runs hourly between Southwold and Halesworth station making for quick connections with Greater Anglia’s hourly train service. The Anglian bus shelter is adjacent to the southbound platorm at the railway station which provides a seamless link. The add-on is just £2 one way or £4 return. One ticket, one fare.

 

Travelling to Southwold

 

For those starting a journey to Southwold by rail it couldn’t be easier. The Southwold combination ticket can be purchased online at the Greater Anglia website, at any staffed rail station, or from the conductor on the train. Just ask for Southwold Bus as your destination. Present your rail ricket to the bus driver at Halesworth station for a direct connection to Southwold via Anglian Bus.

Traveling from Southwold to Halesworth station for onward travel via Greater Anglia rail services? Purchase your all-in-one ticket at the Greater Anglia website for posting to your address. Select ‘Southwold’ as your starting point and any rail station as your destination. Present your rail ticket to the Anglian Bus driver.
