Woodbridge Open Top Bus Tour 2013

The open top bus at Melton Station

Seeing all that Woodbridge has to offer is now easier than ever. Again this Summer, every Thursday and Saturday through 31 August 2013, a special open-top double-decker bus makes its way around the area on a circular sightseeing tour. The route travels through Woodbridge and Melton onto Sutton Hoo and back again. There are 14 stops aong the way including Wilford Bridge, Buttrums Mill, Market Hill Museums, and Sutton Hoo National Trust site.

Tour bus tickets are only £5 for adults and £3 for children and seniors (60+). A family ticket is just £12 for up to 2 adults and 3 children. The tour ticket is valid for 24 hours allowing you to hop-on and off the bus as many times as you like.

Travel by rail on the East Suffolk Lines and make a direct connection to the bus at either Melton railway station or Woodbridge railway station. A special timetable is available here showing the combined Open Top Bus tour and Greater Anglia train times to help you plan your bus / rail journey.

The tour is operated by Ipswich Buses and is sponsored in part by the East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership, the East Suffolk Travellers’ Association, National Trust Sutton Hoo, and Woodbridge Town Centre Management.
