Bike Hire Coming Soon

Bike & Go

If you’ve ever stepped off the train and found your final destination is just a bit farther than you would like to walk, then bringing your bike on board the train is the solution. East Suffolk Lines trains have room to stow four bikes, reservations aren’t necessary (unless using Intercity services at Ipswich) and it’s free to take your bike on board.

You don’t own a bike?

Coming soon you’ll be able to hire a bike at two East Suffolk Lines stations.

Train operator Greater Anglia is rolling out the ‘Bike & Go’ hire scheme at Ipswich station from November, and at Lowestoft station from October. For only £3.80 a day (and an annual fee of £10) you’ll soon be able hire a bike at either station. Use the bike for 24 hours, or add additional days. You can even keep the bike overnight.

The video below explains how it all works, and how easy it is to Bike & Go.
