Travel Disruption Monday 28 October

Connecting the Chord

On Monday 28 October train operator Greater Anglia will be suspending services on all its routes including the East Suffolk Lines until 09:00. Passengers are advised not to attempt to travel before 09:00.

Greater Anglia is working alongside track operator Network Rail preparing for high winds up to 75mph Monday morning. There is a possibility of falling trees or branches and damage to lineside equipment such as signalling and overhead wires on electrified lines. Additional staff will be on hand and both companies are working to ensure any disruption is cleared as soon as possible to allow services to safely run.

A reduced service will commence from 09:00 but significant disruption is still possible.

Realtime information on East Suffolk Lines services is available on this website and at greateranglia.co.uk along with a
Twitter feed (@greateranglia).You are advised to check the latest travel information before setting out.

If you have Greater Anglia tickets dated for travel on Monday 28th October you can travel on Sunday 27th or Tuesday 29th October.
